History of Awaken Me
A few months ago, a guy by the name of "Deacon" was sitting around playing his guitar in church. Another guy by the name of "Wake" started singing along. The special requests started and soon they began singing together regularly. Trying to think of a name for the band that described us as well as our message, Deacon comes up with the name A "Wake" 'n Me. Later it was changed to Awaken Me! and the rest is musical history.

Mission Statement
Awaken Me is dedicated to producing “God’s Music”. The goal of the group is to awaken listeners to the power and promise of God in our lives and to raise up a song of praise, never forgetting that Jesus Christ is the reason we sing!
Sonrise
Sonrise! is a group of musicians and vocalists that supplement the music of Awaken Me! They are valued for their musical input and talent, however the final decisions on music and band membership will always be made by Awaken Me!
